Blogging, Art and housework – a schedule for all of it

Past few days I have been concentrating more on cleaning and tidying up and all other housework. My kitchen and fridge are looking a lot better now and I am loving it. I was doing it all in the ‘me-time that I have assigned for myself. Also, I took naps on a few days because I was not feeling well for a couple of days and some other days I was just tired.

I thought I could write the blog at night after my son sleeps but then he started sleeping a little late. Also, I was feeling sleepy and tired so soon (even then I was up very late checking my Instagram!). I did not sketch anything in 2 weeks and I am missing it. I need to find a better time to do all my house works. Doing it in β€˜me-time was a mistake. At the end of the day, I was feeling exhausted and sad for not being able to write and sketch or just take a nap. Here on ‘me-time will always be ‘me-time. No more cleaning and folding laundry. But napping is allowed πŸ˜ƒ

I already missed one week to publish my blog post ( not that anyone asked or noticed) and I don’t want to miss it again. So here I am determined to write and publish this post on Friday afternoon when my son is taking a nap. (He is looking so cute on the baby monitor nowπŸ₯°).

It is difficult for me to manage time for housework, art, blogging, and posting on social media on daily basis. And without any plans, I am concentration only on one thing and ignoring the others, and then feel bad for doing so. So here is my plan for now.

Blogging and Art

  • Monday and Tuesday afternoons- Art (sketching or maybe painting )
  • Wednesday afternoon – Work on Art youtube video
  • Thursday and Friday afternoon – Writing and publishing the blog post.
  • Weekend – Break

Social media

  • Monday and Tuesday nights – Post updates about my artwork on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest
  • Wednesday night – Publish the video on the ArtbyGanga youtube channel. (This will not be there every Wednesday if the artwork is not finished.)
  • Thursday night- share my photography on Instagram and Twitter
  • Friday and Saturday nights – Blog promotion on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
  • Sunday – break

Our son woke up when I finished writing till here and I am continuing this at night now. He is asleep and the baby monitor is on again. Now back to my plans.

Housework

  • Monday – vacuum living room
  • Tuesday – mop hardwood floors
  • Wednesday – clean bathroom and sinks.
  • Thursday – fold laundry ( I will be folding them in batches after the washing is done. If anything is left Thursday is the time for that)
  • Friday – break
  • Weekend – vacuum bedrooms

I just assigned the days for some of the main tasks and at what time I can do them I am not sure yet. I need to figure it out in the coming days as there will be daily cooking, washing dishes, tidying up, etc. Also, our son has learned the art of tantrums very well πŸ˜†.

We have plans to go to Pumpkin Patch and Apple picking this weekend. I am so excited about that. My husband already has prepared meals for our day out. I just have to prepare our son’s meal and bottle before going.

Thank you for stopping by. Please follow my blog and it will be awesome if you could follow me on social media too!
